I’ve been worshiping at BUC for 30 years

I used to be a teacher and teacher trainer.

I am passionate about gardening, walking, cooking,
meditating, going to art galleries and museums, reading, ballet and dance,
football, and clutter-clearing!

In my local community I am a school governor and am
involved in a campaign to save the local library from closure.

I support Wigan Athletic football club.

Last year I was fortunate to join a charity trek in
Nepal and members of the church raised over £700 for Nepal in Need’s
earthquake appeal through sponsorship and events.

3 of my of all-time favourite
books are Pride and Prejudice, Captain
Corelli’s Mandolin and Miss Garnett’s Angel.
